The Heckscher Museum —
Celebrates 100
EXHIBITION DESIGN / IDENTITY

The Heckscher Museum Celebrates 100: Tracing History, Inspiring The Future was a temporary exhibition at The Heckscher Museum of Art which ran from June 2021 – January 2022. The exhibition commemorates the fascinating people, art, and events that have shaped the museum during its first century — from the original collection, donated in 1920, to the exhibitions and acquisitions of modern day. Pure+Applied worked with the Heckscher team across different elements of the exhibition including; conceptual development, floorplan and elevation design, case layouts, graphic identity and system design, exhibition graphics and installation.
